LA Yarn Crawl

LA transforms into a fiber parade every year for LA Yarn Crawl! This year the four day crawl hosted 16 stores, some brand new to the event! Crocheters, knitters, weavers, sewers, embroiders…the list goes on and on…charted their courses, planned their carpools and made their way. You could always tell who was a fiber friend in a parking lot (because they were always dress up in their finest homemade garments) and a warm banter with a total stranger begins: “Which stores have you hit yet?” “What is the pattern for that sweater?” “What type of yarn is that?” “Have a wonderful yarn crawl!!!!” is quickly exchanged as we weave around each other and continue the crawl.

Starting the day at the newest store to the crawl, The Woven End Yarn Cafe in North Hollywood
